When the fog covers the landscape like a canopy
The University sleeps, silent and peacefully
The morning mists, hovers around
The playground is wet, million dews on the ground.
The time, from the east horizon, the sunshine land
Showering its bright rays, as if blessings from Almighty's hand
The ray of learning, comes with it, flourishes
Learned men, Scholars, Philosophers, it does produces.
The Gaurang, flows nearby, like a snake
crawling inch by inch, I nearby, in my home awake
I fix my vision to the clear water, blue and sweet
I see, flocks of herons, patiently on the river-bed, they sit.
Bodoland University, I believe, the struggle of Bodo bloods
Once, for it, flowed red floods
It welcomes every people
Every race, every caste, every tribe, every religion, all people
You are kind hearted, the heart where only knowledge rest
You recognize all people the same, small and big, embrace all, in your own chest
Bodoland University, there is none, that can get a blame
You are high, broad like the sky, with a mountain peak name.
